Season Outlook:
Returning four starting linemen will go a long way to adding stability to our offense. Overall, we return eight of 11 starters on offense. How quickly the players understand and can execute our new system, will determine our success. We return seven of 11 returning starters on defense. Their game experience will go a long way in developing the success of our defense. Again, the challenge will be to understand and execute a new system. We will be young in the kicking game which is a concern. We do have two players that I feel confident in moving forward. Both Gabriel Santa Maria and Aaron Geiger have strong legs. In the return game, I feel confident that we will develop a few guys that we can trust to return kicks and punts.”
