Key Losses: Milly Wolf
Key Returning players: 4 returning starters: (SR)Morgan Seagreaves, (SR)Annika Spinosa, (SR)Shamiya Roberts, (SO)Skylar Taylor. Jr Tatum Kofroth who saw playing time last year as a sophomore will this year play an important role this season.
Key Newcomers: Juniors Samantha Polanco and Emma Molchany, Gianna Menecola – double rostered last year; we are looking for them to play important roles and to support that Senior class. Sophomore Alyssa Hursh is also expected to make her mark this year as she saw some time last year at the end of the season.
Season Outlook: Losing Milly Wolf who averaged 15 points a game is definitely a loss. We are looking to our four returning starters—three seniors and one sophomore—to pick up where they left off last year. We also expect strong contributions from our four juniors and our other returning sophomore to help create balanced scoring. Defense will be key, as we believe this team’s speed and athleticism will allow us to get out in transition and generate scoring opportunities. This group of girls worked very hard this summer with speed and agility and other training to be ready for this season. We are very excited to start the season.
