GBB Preview: Palmerton

2024-2025 Record: 21-7, PIAA 1st round

Key Returning Players: Hailey Barry (Sr.), Courtney Connel (Sr.), Alisyn Green (Sr.), Cate Morgan (Sr.), Leah Rumfield (Sr.), Grace Schneider (Sr.)

Season Outlook: In the 2025-26 season the Palmerton Lady Bombers will look to continue their success from the 2024-25 season despite graduating two key contributors (Ella Baumgardt, Mikalya Pengelly) from last year’s team. Last year’s squad posted a 21-7 record and an appearance in the 4A District 11 championship game.  After a successful summer, the Lady Bombers are looking forward to the challenges of a new year.  Palmerton has a wealth of experience returning as it has 8 seniors on the roster. Several of these seniors had prominent roles last season (Hailey Barry, Courtney Connell, Cate Morgan) and the team is eager to see how the others (Niejah Martin, Alisyn Green, Emma Rex, Leah Rumfield, Grace Schneider) will step up and contribute in their new roles.  The Lady Bombers are now well established in Coach Coleman’s system and the Palmerton girls are looking forward to incorporating new elements to the scheme.  The team is very motivated to accomplish its goals and be a contender in the Colonial League and District 11 4A class.
