In a heavyweight battle between the 10-1 Nazareth Blue Eagles and 8-2 Northampton Konkrete Kids, The K-Kids came out the gates hot and never looked back, racing out to a 16-4 lead by the end of the first quarter and a 22-4 lead overall. Noah Walakovits would once again be the leader for Northampton finishing with 5 pts after 1 on 2 of 2 shooting. He also had help from Brady Simock who had 4 pts on 2 of 2 shooting as well. The leading scorer for Nazareth was Gavin Kershner who had 3 on 1 of 1 shooting.

The duo of Walakovits and Simock would go on to be the story of the night and continue their dominance in the 2nd quarter where Noah finished with 9 more points on 4 of 5 shooting and Brady finished with 6 more on 2 of 2 shooting, with 2 back-to-back 3 pointers. The leading scorer for Nazareth remained Gavin Kershner who finished with 7 more points to bring his total to 10 on the night.

The 3rd quarter belonged to Nazareth as Blake Nagurney would pop 2 quick 3 pointers out the gate and Gavin Kershner who added 7 pts to bring his total to 17 on the night. Noah Walakovits would keep pace with him however, bringing his total to 16 after scoring 2 more that quarter. Simock also added 5 more points.

Walakovits would help close out the Northampton victory, with 6 pts on 3 of 3 shooting to bring his total to 22 on the night. Simock would get 2 more to close out the night with 17. The Northampton duo scored 39 of the team’s 62 pts. While the duo of Gavin Kershner and Blake Nagurney combined for 35 of Nazareth’s 45 pts.

Following the win, Northampton is now back in 1st place in the EPC Northampton Division and will take on Freedom for an away game Friday night at 7. Nazareth will also play Friday night at 7, as they travel back home to take on Liberty.
